Modern Method Gunite, Inc. is proud to have just completed its 28th year in business in the Houston area. Our Gunite division is now expanded to seven crews to better serve you. In 2009, Modern Method Gunite is working to on having certified nozzlemen for all crews. Modern Method Gunite has become the contractor of choice for high profile, time sensitive gunite projects. We have the expertise and resources to ensure that projects are completed as designed, on time and on budget. Providing superior quality workmanship is one of Modern Method Gunite's main strengths and our experience sets the standard. Modern Method continually manages processes to ensure the most effective, efficient, and reliable work for its contracting customers.

Residential and Commercial Pools
Everything from landscaping to entire structures can be built using this material. Gunite is well known around the world for its extraordinary capabilities for swimming pools, ponds, water gardens, fountains, waterfalls and spas. Gunite pools are the most prestigious of all the pool categories. Permanent, reinforced pools with gunite and plaster, a wide variety of special options such as waterfalls, custom steps, and beach entries can be easily added to complement these high-quality pools. Private homeowners as well as commercial contractors choose gunite pools for their flexibility since they can be built in any shape. Gunite pool owners can also choose from many plaster finishes or pebble applications, allowing for maximum creativity. We work on all kinds of in-ground swimming pools, wading pools, lap pools, splash pools, leisure pools, activity pools, equestrian pools, negative edge pools, vanishing edge pools and zero entry pools, and pool racing lanes. Many of our pools include water falls, water slides, fountains and other exciting features.

Gunite applications include swimming pools and spas, retaining walls, wing walls and bases for boulder structures. All Modern Method Gunite pools are shot at a minimum of 3000 PSI, with 6” Walls and Floors, 8” Coves, and 12” Bond Beam unless otherwise specified. For added structural integrity of our work, fibers can be included on request to insure strength and bond.
