MODERN METHOD GUNITE ANNOUNCES
ASSET ACQUISITION OF
CORONA GUNITE AND SAN ANTONIO GUNITE

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – November 2, 2026 – Modern Method Gunite (MMG), a family-owned and operated swimming pool contractor, announces the asset acquisition of Corona Gunite and San Antonio Gunite, expanding its gunite operations into the San Antonio and Central Texas markets. 

Modern Method Gunite has provided gunite services in Houston for more than 40 years and has served the Central Texas market with professional swimming pool plaster services for the past 14 years. With the addition of gunite, MMG will now offer both services to its existing and prospective Central Texas customers. 

"We've spent the past 14 years developing relationships with pool builders throughout Central Texas through our plaster operations," said Edgar Sanchez, Chief Operating Officer of Modern Method Gunite. "Adding gunite is a natural extension of our business and allows us to offer customers both services through one company. We're excited about this opportunity and look forward to continuing to grow our presence in the San Antonio (Central Texas) market." 

The acquisition builds on MMG's established Central Texas operations and expands the services available to area pool builders. Customers will now have the option to contract with MMG for both gunite and plaster applications, backed by the company's decades of industry experience.
